Darwin Day is a celebration of science and rational thought, and, of course, Darwin.
This link will take you to the official site of the Darwin
Day Celebration.
It is chock full of useful and interesting info about Darwin and even
instructions on starting your own Darwin Day Celebration, or even translating the official
site into additional languages.
The page you see here is more of my personal exploration of Darwiniana.
My exuberance in this area has taken me to the Galapagos, to the top of La Campana, down to
Patagonia, and inside Westminster Cathedral. (See
Darwin's Travels.)
It has even led me to become a member of the Darwin Day Celebration
Board of Directors.

No Darwin Day Celebration would be complete without the requisite birthday cake(s).
The highlight of this event was a remarkable talk by Frank Sulloway looking at the
ecological changes wrought over the last 3 decades by biological invaders to the
Galapagos.
