This page is dedicated to a very unusual citrus varietal known as Buddha's hand.
It is also known as the fingered citron (Citrus medica var. sarcodactylus.)
The citron species exists in a striking variety of diverse forms, including Buddha's hand.
Moreover, it is remarkable that all the forms of citrus fruits all fall within the genus Citrus
(family: Rutaceae.)
One of my students suggested that Buddha's hand has "Grinch fingers" and now I cannot dissociate the
two.
